I have not always been a healthy person.

I have struggled with weight issues most of my life!  As so many others I had turned to food for comfort, but the wrong foods! Fast foods and lots of it! I had little energy from the lack of nutrition, so needless to say, I kept piling on the weight. My activities were eating out, movies with a tub of butter popcorn with free refills. It was was like a snowball effect! I was out of control with food and my life, I hit my last weight recorded of 245 Lbs, I decided at that point to never again set a foot on a scale!  I had tried all those fad diets, shakes, cookie diet, diet pills, popular diet programs, you name it I did it!

So many years so disappointed in all those failing attempts to be thin and not achieving my goals until I learned about Raw Vegan eating. My life has changed in so many ways, I have managed to drop weight, and have so much energy from these living plant based whole foods.

I have run four Marathons, two of them official, and the other two in training. I have also run half Marathon, 10K all in one years time.

I would have never dreamed of becoming a runner, in fact I hated the thought of running. I would see people run, and would think they must be crazy to running! Now I am that crazy runner every day, those that must drive past me, see me all the time, and I chuckle at the thought of them thinking that, when now I am on the other side of the road!



The foods I eat provides so many nutrients, that I how so much energy that I run six to seven days a week. With no aches or pains, because the Raw Vegan foods I eat help me recovery so quickly! I drink Green Smoothies and vegetables juicing almost as part of my regular routine, aside from my fresh fruits and vegetables, some nuts and seeds. Eating has never been so exciting to me! I create so many healthy and delicious recipes, and not to mention the decadent desserts. I am no longer depriving myself! Food never felt so good inside and out!
